50 STATES RUNNING CLUB NEWS, ANNOUNCEMENTS & MORE

Congratulations to 50 States Half Marathon Club™ member, Lisa Wiedower from Little Rock, Arkansas, for completing the 50 States Half Marathon Challenge™ plus D.C., in August 2026! Lisa has been a member of our 50 states running club for about 2 and a half years, since 2023, and finished her 50 states journey in Alaska.

Half Marathons can be a fun event distance to intertwine into Half Ironman or Ironman training. Additionally, Ironman and Half Ironman distance triathlons count toward our 50 States Half Marathon Club's 50 states challenges. Our 50 states running club is a great way to mix it up, and enjoy a bit of both, while working towards a 50 states challenge. Congratulations to 50 States Half Marathon Club™ member, Hillery Campbell Gladden, for completing the 7 Continents Endurance Challenge™! Hillery completed a full marathon on each of the 7 continents. Hillery is a Life Membership member of our 50 states running club.

Congratulations to 50 States Half Marathon Club™ member, Jack Absher from Las Vegas, Nevada, for completing the 25 Countries Endurance Challenge™, in June 2026! Jack is the first to finish one of our newest club challenges, checking off a half marathon in twenty five countries in just over four years! Jack ran half marathons in 9 countries in Asia, 4 North America countries, 2 countries in Africa, 2 countries in South America, 7 countries in Europe, and Australia!
