David started out as support crew for his wife Jennifer, and soon enough he was along for the adventure doing 5k's as part of 50 States Half Marathon Club's family challenge, allowing for the opportunity of family members to do a shorter distance in all 50 states, rather than our traditional 50 States Half Marathon Challenge! By 50 States Half Marathon Club member, Christine Palmisano: In May 2025, I crossed the finish line of the Hibiscus Half Marathon in Hawaii and completed a goal that had been 16 years in the making: running 13.1 miles in all 50 states. Like many of you, I started with a single race. I had no grand plan, no expectation that it would take more than a decade and a half, and certainly no idea how much the journey would shape my life. Jack is the first to finish one of our newest club challenges, checking off a half marathon in twenty five countries in just over four years!
