The Great Smoky Mountains Half Marathon is set to take place on Saturday September 12th, 2015 in Maryville, TN. Fifty States Half Marathon Club members will receive a 15% discount to the event. Like all the Vacation Races series, the half marathon is a beautiful scenic course running along the outside of a national park. The Great Smoky Mountains Half marathon course runs through the woods just outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with a subtle elevation gain throughout the race, and a few rollers here and there. The race finishes in Townsend with beautiful views of the mountains.
