Marilyn Kirchgesner Finishes the 7 Continents Endurance Challenge - From Springfield, Illinois

Congratulations to 50 States Half Marathon Club member, Marilyn Kirchgesner from Springfield, Illinois, for completing the 7 Continents Endurance Challenge, in 2025! Marilyn ran a half marathon on each of the 7 Continents, traveling to race destinations such as Kangaroo Island in Australia, King George Island in Antarctica, Petra Desert in Asia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in South America, Reykjavik, Iceland in Europe, and Limpopo Province in northern South Africa. Marilyn is a long time member of our 50 states running club, for almost twelve years, since 2014!
